YeloGreen BagDesk

A Bit of Magic In Your Backpack

YeloGreen BagDesk turns an ordinary school bag into something extraordinary. This award-winning innovation, crafted from recycled materials, gives children in under-resourced areas a sturdy bag and a foldable desk in one neat package. It helps rural students study comfortably at school or at home while building habits of organisation, hygiene and sustainability.

How We Turned a Daily Struggle into a Simple Solution

In thousands of rural and semi-urban schools, children sit on bare floors for hours, straining their posture and eyes. Many carry books by hand or in plastic bags, which get damaged on long walks to school. Schools struggle to provide desks and chairs due to limited budgets, and children’s learning suffers.

YeloGreen BagDesk isn’t just a school bag but much more. It’s a compact learning station and a daily reminder of sustainable habits. Every feature has been designed with children’s real needs in mind:

A New Beginning for Schools

Our approach combines practical upgrades with community involvement to make every rupee count and every improvement last.

SUCCESS STORY

How One Student’s Idea Became an Award-Winning Innovation

Prem Ahir, a student of Government Secondary School, Dhokavada, had always loved science but never had the space or tools to turn his ideas into reality. When Ennoble’s STEAM Lab trainer announced the MANAK Inspire Awards, Prem rolled up his sleeves and got going. He submitted his design for a low-cost sanitary waste incinerator in a matter of days. On 6 March 2025, his project was selected, making him the only student in his block to win the award.

The 100 Schools Project

Following the success of ZP School, Jalindher Nagar, Ennoble has taken the HMST Program to 12  other government schools, driving measurable improvements in Foundational Literacy & Numeracy, STEM participation, and local ownership. The next big milestone is to scale this transformation to 100 government schools across Pune district.

At the helm is National Award-winning teacher Shri Dattatray Ware (Ware Guruji), whose government school stands as a national model of excellence. With his mentorship, Ennoble is creating a movement of 100 government schools led by inspired teachers and equipped to drive transformation from within.

The model prioritizes empowerment over enforcement, trust over top-down mandates, and relationships over rules. By combining Ware Guruji’s pedagogy with scalable public systems and infrastructure, we are building a model that not only inspires but also replicates.
